Request for Quote (RFQ)

A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a standard business process whose purpose is to invite suppliers into a bidding process for specific services or products. ICS has developed an RFQ system for automating this process, so many RFQ projects can run simultaneously. Jobs and components are entered with appropriate specifications and submitted to a selected group of vendors via email or standard paper means. Quotations received from vendors or prospective vendors may be directly exported into estimates for submitting to your client for approval. When ready to purchase, the quotes may be converted to open Purchase Orders.
